5PENCIL W/ TRIANGLE SHAPE  Jul 08, 2010
NON-SLIPPERY PENCIL, EASILY TO HOLD, ESPECIALLY FOR THOSE NEW LEARNING KIDS, THE ERASER IS GOOD TO ERASE ALL THE WORDS. EXCELLENT !

5The DIX22500 Tri-Conderoga Pencil  Sep 13, 2009
I am an 8th-grade math teacher. I give these pencils out as rewards.
My students love them. I also like them. As mentioned in other
reviews, the finish on these pencils give them a confortable feel,
along with the triangular shape. The larger size is also a comfort
feature. I agree that the added sharpener is less than desireable.
I have a high-end X-Acto sharpener that does a good job of sharpening
these pencils.

5Terrific pencils  Jun 27, 2009
This is the best pencil I've used in a long time! Only one drawback - don't lose the supplied sharpener! These pencils are thicker than normal and do not fit an ordinary sharpener. However, they write very well, sharpen evenly and erase well.

5Favorite Pencil  Aug 28, 2008
This pencil is pretty amazing. It's smooth to the touch and fits between the fingers comfortably. It writes smoothly and erases easily (big plus). I prefer this to the Triwrites mostly because the pencil feels so much better (and I suspect is a little bit thicker). The only downside is that it won't fit in every sharpener, and the little sharpener that comes with some packages doesn't work quite as well as I would like. A Faber-Castell grip pencil sharpener works perfectly, though.

5Incredibly comfortable to hold, easy to use  Jun 25, 2008
I don't know what kind of paint they used on this pencil, but it is incredibly smooth and just comfortable to touch. The triangular barrel of the pencil guides the fingers to the least stressful grip on the pencil - and makes writing easier. I've also found that, if a cat pushes this pencil on the floor, there's only a small chance that it will break. If it does break, the repair expenses are negligible and you don't have to explain what happened to computer guys.
